Too much to do, too little time? Fear not! There are a variety of time saving member tools that can be taken advantage of right online to simplify the process. Here is a list of the most commonly utilized online tools:
Create a MBE/WBE/DBE Ad: You can advertise or request updates to your existing ad by emailing Anita Lindsay, MITA Website/Data Coordinator, at anitalindsay@mi-ita.com.
Get Advice on MIOSHA Citations: Do you have a question about a citation or the appeals process? Feel free to email citations@mi-ita.com.
Get Your Blue Book Rates: Get current equipment rates by downloading the Blue Book Rates Request Form, and submitting the information via email to Tiya Kunaiyi, MITA Membership Services Coordinator, at tiyakunaiyi@mi-ita.com. Note: You must ALWAYS have a model year on any submission.
Make a PAC Contribution: If you are interested in making a financial contribution towards the MITA PAC, which is the most effective tool our industry has to support candidates who will fight for contractors in the Michigan legislature, visit the “MITA PAC” page located under the Legislative section of MITA’s website.
Order Material Resources: Need a Safety Program, Trench Safety books, Danger Signs, or Best Practices cards? Simply email your order list and shipping information to orders@mi-ita.com. For a complete list of material resources available through MITA click here.
Sign Up for MITA Events: Once registration has opened for an upcoming MITA event, you can get all of the event information and/or register for it by visiting the events calendar on www.mi-ita.com.
Sign Employees Up for MITA E-Bulletins: MITA encourages all members to sign up their “qualified person”, administrative staff, estimating/project managers, etc. to receive MITA e-bulletins. Employees direct access to weekly updates, available materials, specification changes etc. promotes efficient and timely office and jobsite operations. To sign your employees up click here.
Submit a Stolen Equipment Report: MITA offers members the opportunity to post stolen equipment information directly on the MITA website. Download the Stolen Equipment Form and email the requested information to Tiya Kunaiyi, MITA Membership Services Coordinator, at tiyakunaiyi@mi-ita.com.
